Tanana Valley Clinic, a large multi-specialty clinic, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time BC/BE general internist in Fairbanks, Alaska. We have provided comprehensive medical and surgical care to the Fairbanks community since 1959.
We are offering a second position for a general internist who wants to work as a consultant and primary care physician in a community where there are few medical sub specialists. This position offers a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities; no night and weekend call (covered by hospitalist group); all fee-for-service with no managed care. Fairbanks, a family friendly community of 100,000, is located in the Tanana Valley surrounded by spectacular mountains and unlimited wilderness.
Fairbanks also offers an excellent educational environment with a major university, a variety of public, and private schools, vast cultural opportunities plus exceptional outdoor recreational activities.

Banner Tanana Valley Clinic is seeking a Health Information Manager (Medical Records).
This position leads and directs all health information and management functions, services and
systems for the medical facility. Conducts analysis of key processes, HIMS and clinical staff,
usage of records systems and patient satisfaction.
Requirements: Bachelor degree in HIM management or an equivalent combination of education with
3-5 years of experience with demonstrated knowledge of and experience with workflow within a HIMS
department, as well as, state and federal regulation in regards to HIPAA and confidentiality.
Must have accreditation as a Registered Health Information Administration or Registered Health
