We are offering a second position for a general internist who wants to work as a consultant and primary care physician in a community where there are few medical sub specialists. This position offers a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities; no night and weekend call (covered by hospitalist group); all fee-for-service with no managed care. Our OB/GYN Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to work with gynecological patients and women's health. The successful candidate must possess the abilities of independent action, self-direction and innovative thought under the direction of board certified physician's. Previous experience is preferred but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
The Family Practice Department is looking for candidates with strong Primary Care skills. Responsibilities include evaluating and assessing acute and chronic care. Two years experience preferred.
Basic requirements for both positions include: Licensed to practice in the State of Alaska, DEA certification, and certified by a nationally recognized training program.
